"#101" slows down the pace and reintroduces JJ Lacey to the Highway 62 squad. JJ's subterranean bass and trademark rhythmic flips give "#101" a sleek, slinky, post-dubstep groove that perfectly accompanies the darkness-and-light juxtaposition of the different sections of the song. "#101" was backed by the original instrumental "Highway 62 Theme", a return to the deep, funky house sounds of "tldr", but with some nice guitar and drum flourishes providing a few "band" elements to the mix.​
